When contacted by The Vibes, Izzah dismissed the claims outright, stating that the reports were “fake news.”

She clarified that she has not resigned and continues to serve in her capacity as PKR deputy president, putting an end to the speculation.

The false claim is believed to have originated from reports aired on Tamil-language news channels, including Makkal Osai. – March 28, 2026
