PETRONAS guarantees sufficient fuel supply until end of June

The national oil company said in a statement that it will continue to actively manage its supply chain to ensure sufficient stocks at all stations amid the current global energy crisis caused by conflicts in West Asia.

PETRONAS has confirmed that fuel supply across its network of stations nationwide is guaranteed until the end of June, up from the previous projection of until the end of May 2026.

The national oil company said in a statement that it will continue to actively manage its supply chain to ensure sufficient stocks at all stations amid the current global energy crisis caused by conflicts in West Asia.

PETRONAS supplies about 50 per cent of the country's fuel needs through its publicly listed subsidiary, Petronas Dagangan Berhad.

The remaining supply is provided by other oil companies operating in Malaysia.

PETRONAS reiterated its commitment to ensuring a stable and reliable fuel supply to all Malaysians.

"The public is encouraged to purchase fuel prudently according to daily needs and avoid excessive or panic buying.

"Responsible consumption will help ensure that supplies continue to be sufficient for all," the statement said. – April 15, 2026
