THE woman whose body was found inside a suitcase at a house in Taman Impian Indah, Kajang died from slash wounds to the head, police confirmed today following a post-mortem examination.
Kajang district police chief Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof said the post-mortem was completed at 6.20pm on Monday and established the cause of death.
“Police confirm that there were no signs of dismemberment or any body parts being severed,” he said in a statement.
Investigations also revealed that the house where the body was discovered had been rented to a foreign couple since February this year, he added.
Police are now appealing to members of the public who may have information about the case, or who have family members or employees reported missing, to come forward to assist the investigation.

The case came to light after police received a report at 8.37pm on Sunday, following the discovery of a foul odour emanating from the rented house, which led to the body being found concealed inside a suitcase. - June 30, 2026
