A SUSPECTED dispute over queue-cutting escalated into a roadside brawl in Taman Medan on Thursday, with a viral video showing two motorists exchanging blows in the middle of a busy road as traffic built up around them.

The footage, widely shared on social media, appears to show the incident beginning after one vehicle allegedly attempted to cut into a queue while entering an exit lane.

Another motorist reportedly refused to give way, triggering a heated confrontation between the two drivers.

The disagreement quickly escalated, with both men leaving their vehicles before engaging in a physical fight in the middle of the road.

The incident, which lasted several seconds, caused passing motorists to slow down to watch the altercation, resulting in traffic disruption in the area.

The video has since drawn widespread attention online, with many social media users criticising the actions of both individuals and calling for greater restraint among motorists.

Police have yet to issue an official statement on the incident. Local media reported that they are seeking a response from the authorities. - July 2, 2026
