BARISAN Nasional (BN) Negeri Sembilan is expected to launch its manifesto for the 16th State Election (PRN) on July 24.

Negeri Sembilan UMNO chairman, Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias, said the manifesto will focus on various aspects including the state development agenda, education, people's well-being and administrative stability.

He said the manifesto will be a continuation of the approach implemented throughout the previous state government administration, in addition to featuring several improvements according to the current needs of the people.

"The BN manifesto is certainly based on moving forward, we are thinking about improving and adding value. This time, improvements to several segments related to development, education, well-being and stability of the people," he said.

He said, the manifesto will try to resolve the issue of the cost of living of the people, especially those with low incomes, in addition to upgrading facilities for small traders.

"This is so that they can generate appropriate income to improve their conditions and also improve the state's economy. In my opinion, the comfort of the grassroots community is the biggest contributor to the stability and well-being of the state," he said.

Regarding the Menteri Besar candidate from BN if given a mandate, he said, it is the right of the party leadership and will only be decided after the results of the PRN. – July 18, 2026
