THE MADANI Government will launch its first online Jualan Ihsan Rahmah 9.9 on Sept 9, offering Malaysians nationwide an opportunity to purchase essential goods at more affordable prices as part of the Malaysia Day 2026 celebrations.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the initiative would extend the reach of the Government’s cost-of-living measures and enable people across the country to benefit directly from discounted daily necessities.

He said the online sale would also build on an initiative by TikTok Shop, which he welcomed as part of efforts to mark the spirit of Merdeka and Malaysia Day.

"Taking into account the spirit of independence and Malaysia Day, as well as the initiative undertaken by TikTok Shop, I welcome the continuation of this initiative and effort.

"I want to align this with the Jualan Ihsan Rahmah 9.9 online sale," he said when officiating the Summit Malaysia 2026 Kuala Lumpur today.

Anwar said the initiative should be publicised widely to ensure Malaysians were aware of the programme and could take advantage of the savings offered.

The Jualan Rahmah programme, spearheaded by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN), offers essential goods at discounts of between 10 per cent and 30 per cent.

The inaugural online edition is expected to broaden access to the programme beyond physical sales locations, enabling consumers nationwide to participate in the special 9.9 promotion. - August 20, 2026
