KUALA LUMPUR – The Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) is closing its office and counters in Temerloh, Pahang, indefinitely beginning today due to the worsening flood situation in the peninsula’s east coast region.
In a statement today, it said the temporary closure is to ensure the safety and well-being of its members and staff.
“Members who have made prior appointments with the Temerloh branch are advised to reschedule their visits to a later date when the flood situation eases.
“For urgent transactions, members may conduct their transactions online via i-Akaun for selected services or visit EPF branches operating in unaffected areas,” it said.
