PKR demands Ab Rauf explain status of 55 Melaka development projects
Ab Rauf should publicly account for the project’s implementation progress so that voters could assess the state administration based on actual delivery - November 2, 2026

MELAKA Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh must disclose the latest status of 55 state development projects that have yet to begin before seeking a fresh mandate in the upcoming state election, says PKR.

PKR deputy secretary-general G Sivamalar said that after nearly 17 months, voters deserved a comprehensive update on the projects, including the number completed, still under implementation or yet to commence.

She said Ab Rauf should publicly account for their implementation progress so that voters could assess the state administration based on actual delivery rather than development announcements.

"On June 10, 2025, the Chief Minister announced that of the 241 state development projects, 86 had been completed, 100 were being implemented, while 55 had yet to begin." - November 2, 2026
