POLICE are investigating a seven-man brawl outside a shopping mall in Taman Bukit Indah, Skudai, after a 13-second video of the incident went viral on social media.

Iskandar Puteri police chief Assistant Commissioner Radin Ramlan Radin Taha said police received a report from a woman at 10.27pm yesterday.

He said preliminary investigations found that the fight took place outside the shopping mall and resulted in damage to a car belonging to a member of the public parked nearby.

“The motive for the incident is still under investigation,” he said in a statement today.

Radin Ramlan said police were working to identify and track down all seven men involved.

The case is being investigated under Section 147 of the Penal Code for rioting and Section 427 for mischief.

He urged anyone with information to contact the Iskandar Puteri District Control Centre at 07-5113622 or its hotline at 07-5114486, or visit the nearest police station.

He also advised the public against acting on emotions in ways that could threaten harmony and public well-being in Johor. - November 5, 2026
