10 more primary schools in T’ganu close due to Covid-19

KUALA LUMPUR – Ten more primary schools in Terengganu are closed starting today after a slew of Covid-19 cases were detected.

The affected schools are SK Kesom, SK Bukit Petiti, SK Pulau Manis, SK Manir, SK Tengku Ampuan Mariam, SK Kedai Buloh, SK Tok Dir, SK Pusat Kuala Ibai, SK Seri Budiman, and SK Gong Tok Nasek in Kuala Terengganu.

They are ordered to close for seven days until January 30 for sanitisation.

Just two days ago, SK Sultan Sulaiman 1 (SKSS1) and SK Paloh in Kuala Terengganu were ordered to close for 14 days after eight Covid-19 cases were recorded.

All school activities and management have been postponed until February 5, as ordered by the state Health Department. – The Vibes, January 24, 2021
