KOTA KINABALU – Claims that there will be a statewide Covid-19 lockdown in Sabah starting Friday are fake, said the National Security Council today.

Its state chapter, in a Facebook post, said only Semporna, Lahad Datu, Tawau and Kunak have been placed under the targeted enhanced movement control order (Temco).

“As for the other districts, the matter is only at the proposal level.”

The Temco in the four districts, which started yesterday, is in force until October 12. – Bernama, September 30, 2020
