KOTA KINABALU – Many people are facing a hard time due to the pandemic, including this young boy who was helping his family sell snacks on the street.
However, he got an unexpected surprise when two police officers on patrol duty near Jalan Api-Api Centre here spotted him roaming around alone at the commercial centre and stopped him at the side of the road.
When the boy told them that he was only trying to help his family by selling snacks, the two officers were sympathetic. One of the officers pulled out his wallet and handed some money to the boy.
The whole act was captured by a bystander in a 42-second viral TikTok Video (below), which in turn has garnered praise from netizens.
