KUALA LUMPUR – The founder of a cosmetics company was yesterday arrested in connection with a video of him allegedly kissing a boy, said to be his adopted brother, on the lips.
City police chief Datuk Saiful Azly said the man was detained to facilitate investigations.
“The suspect was detained at his house here, and is currently under remand at the Cheras district police headquarters,” he told Bernama today.
He said police have opened an investigation paper under Section 14(b) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.
The clip in question went viral on social media yesterday.
It was found that the suspect previously posted similar videos on his TikTok account, which has been deactivated. – Bernama, February 17, 2021
