Covid-19: S’wak death toll hits 97 with new fatality today

MIRI – The Covid-19 death toll in Sarawak has reached 97 after a fatality was recorded today.

A 66-year-old man in Sibu Hospital died of the coronavirus, taking the toll to 97, said the state Disaster Management Committee secretariat.

Sarawak today also recorded 276 new infections.

Sibu remains the district with the most cases at 68, followed closely by Bintulu with 66, Kuching (19), Miri (50), Julau (25), Meradong (16), Serian (13), Serian (10) and several districts with fewer than 10.
