KLANG – Four individuals, including a bodyguard, have been remanded between five and seven days, starting today, in connection with the assault on two other bodyguards by their employer for fasting during Ramadan.
The remand order against the suspects, aged between 38 and 46, was issued by magistrate Solehah Noratikah Ismail.
The four were arrested yesterday.
It was reported that the two victims were beaten on their backs using a cane.
Police said the employer took a pistol from one of the victims and pointed it at them, while threatening and insulting them. – Bernama, April 15, 2021
