Raya-themed gambling ad: key suspect ‘Ah Hoe’ remanded 4 days

KUALA LUMPUR – The key suspect in the production of a Hari Raya Aidilfitri-themed video that promotes online gambling has been remanded for four days from today to facilitate police’s investigation.

Dang Wangi district police chief Mohamad Zainal Abdullah, in a statement today, said the 35-year-old known as “Ah Hoe” was arrested along with four others yesterday.

“The four suspects, who include a singer and a composer, have been remanded for two days until tomorrow to facilitate the probe.”

He said police had been tracking the suspects for four days. – Bernama, April 19, 2021
