SEREMBAN – SMK Seremban 2 here will be closed from today until April 29, following the detection of 17 Covid-19 cases.
Negri Sembilan Investment, Industrialisation, Entrepreneurship, Education and Human Capital Committee chairman Datuk Mohamad Rafie Ab Malek, in a statement, said the cases were confirmed yesterday after screening conducted by the Health Ministry on Tuesday.
He said 179 individuals at SM Agama Persekutuan Labu near here are being quarantined at Institut Aminuddin Baki and the Higher Education Leadership Academy in Nilai after three staff tested positive for the coronavirus.
The situation is under control, and the school has not been closed, he said. – Bernama, April 23, 2021
