KUALA LUMPUR – As a final gesture, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced that ministers and deputy ministers will be not be taking a salary for three months starting June.

Their salaries will instead be channelled to the Crisis Trust Fund for Covid-19-related expenditures.

Muhyiddin said this in a special televised announcement hours before the nationwide two-week lockdown. – The Vibes, May 31, 2021
