KUALA LUMPUR – Water supply has been restored to 80% of the 13 areas that experienced an unscheduled disruption due to a burst pipe in Jalan Kuala here, as at 7pm today.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd corporate communications head Elina Baseri, in a statement, said a delay is expected for a full recovery.

“Supply will be fully restored to the affected areas by 6am on June 11.

“The delay is due to technical problems at the Kuari booster pump house, which is causing the pond not to achieve its optimum level. Air Selangor is working hard to stabilise the supply distribution system.”

She said water tankers will be immediately mobilised to areas yet to receive supply. – Bernama, June 10, 2021
