SEVERAL areas in Kuala Lumpur have been hit with water disruptions due to a pipe burst at the Pasar Seni Hub in the city.

Air Selangor in a statement, said repair works are underway and are expected to be completed at 1 am tomorrow (Oct 9).

Affected areas include Brickfields, Bukit Bandaraya, Bukit Damansara, Bukit Tunku, Damansara Heights, Kampung Attap, Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur Central, and Semantan among others.

"The recovery time will vary based on the location of the consumer premises and the water pressure at the distribution system, it said in a statement.

Air Selangor will mobilise water tankers to affected areas, with priority given to critical hospitals, clinics and dialysis centres.
