PUTRAJAYA – The MySejahtera team has been given a week to iron out certain user-related issues, said Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.
Issues include the lack of digital vaccination certificates and those without second appointment dates.
He added that physical vaccine certificates will be accepted “for now”.
The MySejahtera team has also been tasked with streamlining the vaccine certificate verification process for those vaccinated overseas.
Noting concerns of authenticity as well as efficiency, the Rembau MP said that the process will be done online.
On September 2, Khairy announced updates to the app, namely the introduction of two new features.
The first is a check-out button. MySejahtera users were previously only able to scan a QR code at public places to check-in.
“A check-out button has been added in the latest update of MySejahtera, to improve contact tracing,” tweeted Khairy.
“After leaving a place, please remember to check out. You only need to press a button – no scan needed.”
The second feature makes MySejahtera more user-friendly, displaying users’ risk level and vaccination status immediately when the app is launched. – The Vibes, September 9, 2021
