KUALA LUMPUR – Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin has announced updates to the MySejahtera app, which will see two new features.

The first feature will be a check-out button.

Currently, MySejahtera users can only scan a QR code at public places for checking in.

Now, with the updates, users can also check out after leaving such premises.

“A check-out button has also been added in the latest update of MySejahtera, to improve contact tracing.

“After leaving a place, please remember to check out. You only need to press a button – no scan needed,” Khairy said in a tweet.

The other feature merely makes it more user-friendly to display risk levels and the Covid-19 vaccination status.

Now, users have to go to the “Profile” section on the app to display their risk and vaccination status.

“The MySejahtera team will push a new build tonight making it easier for people to display their risk level and vaccination status – this will ease living with Covid, together.

“Will further update and improve the app over the coming weeks,” Khairy added. – The Vibes, September 2, 2021
