Upgrades at Sg Selangor water treatment plant expected to be done at 11pm

KUALA LUMPUR – The upgrading and maintenance of critical assets at the Sg Selangor Phase 1 Water Treatment Plant hit 83.9% at 5pm today.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd corporate communications head Elina Baseri in a statement said the works are expected to be fully completed tonight, at 11pm.

“Water supply will begin to be channelled in stages after the system has been stabilised, and it is expected to be fully restored by 9pm on October 16.

“Air Selangor has mobilised water tankers to critical premises, such as hospitals, dialysis centres, Covid-19 quarantine and treatment centres, vaccination centres and funeral parlours.” – Bernama, October 13, 2021
