KUALA LUMPUR – Barisan Nasional (BN) MPs have voiced their undivided support for the looming Budget 2021 that will be tabled on Friday.

In a press statement today, the coalition’s chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said he has sent a letter to Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on the matter.

“BN’s 43 MPs consisting of ministers, deputy ministers and Dewan Rakyat members, who met yesterday, have unanimously agreed to give their undivided support for the Budget 2021 that will be tabled on November 6 and will do the same for all laws to be tabled by the government,” said Zahid.

He added that the MPs have agreed that Muhyiddin must consider extending the loan moratorium period for another six months for those in the B40 and M40 groups.

They also wanted the prime minister to grant the approval for the public to withdraw a sum of money from their EPF Account 1 as long as they are eligible and fit certain criteria. – The Vibes, November 4, 2020
