KUALA LUMPUR – More than 500 individuals have been caught for violating the conditional movement control order, with 470 fined and 32 detained, said Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

In a statement today, he said Ops Benteng also rounded up 38 undocumented migrants and two smugglers, and seized eight vehicles.

As of yesterday, a total of 42 sanitation operations were carried out in Melaka (18), Sabah (seven), Penang (four), Perak (three), Negri Sembilan (two), Sarawak (one), Putrajaya (two), Kedah (one), Terengganu (one), Kuala Lumpur (one), and Labuan (one).

He also assured that the supply of essential goods is sufficient and able to meet the needs of the country following daily monitoring by the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry on 12 types of goods’ supplies. – The Vibes, November 14, 2020
