PUTRAJAYA – Twenty-three individuals, including enforcement personnel with a government department, were brought to the magistrates’ court here this morning for remand proceedings in relation to a case on the falsification of border stamps.

Some were brought in a Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission bus.

All of the suspects, comprising 19 men and four women, were dressed in the orange MACC lock-up garb.

They wore masks and had their temperature taken as a precautionary measure.

It is understood that several other suspects in Johor Baru, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu will also be brought to court today for remand in relation to similar investigations. – Bernama, November 17, 2020
