KUALA LUMPUR – A video of a woman mocking an airline staffer stationed at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) has gone viral, garnering rebuke on social media over her behaviour.
In the video, posted on TikTok by user @missssssyl, the woman appeared to slam her “Norwegian” passport on the counter before mocking the staff member on duty and asking for names.
The video posted yesterday has garnered more than 126,000 views at the time of writing, with the caption “What would u do if people like this attack you for no reason?”
The incident is believed to have occurred on Christmas Day.
Comments on the video largely panned the woman’s behaviour, with a few dishing out advice to airport staff to let security personnel handle such “combative” individuals in the future.
However, some commenters joked that the incident would be much “spicier” if celebrity Mohamed Azwan Ali, popularly known as Diva AA, was to be the staffer instead.
TikTok user Dzar Ismail jokingly said he would buy tickets to a face-off between Azwan and the woman.
“If this (person) fought with Azwan Ali, I would buy tickets.”
Another user known as azizahabuhassan2 agreed that Azwan should take on the woman.
“(She) should fight Azwan… it would be a fair fight.”
The woman’s attitude attracted the attention of Malaysian actress Kudsia Kahar, who urged the Immigration Department to not allow such an individual back into the country.

Meanwhile, KLIA district police chief Imran Abd Rahman told The Star that the woman was handed a RM100 fine for “behaving indecently”.
He added that she made a scene after she was barred from exiting a plane, claiming she left her belongings in the airport.
Last year, another Caucasian woman was dubbed the “KLCC Karen” for her refusal to wear a mask indoors.
The woman, who called herself “Karen Dior”, defended herself, adding that she was merely exercising her freedom to choose.
