KUALA LUMPUR – The full report on the Batang Kali landslide incident will be discussed at the Selangor executive council meeting soon, said Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amiruddin Shari.

“The report has been done and was produced by JMG (Selangor Minerals and Geoscience Department).

“If there is a written request (for the report), we can produce it.

“But god willing, I will bring it to be discussed at the state executive council meeting soon,’’ he said briefly during a press conference after attending the launch of Initiatif Pendapatan Rakyat at the Cempaka LRT station here today.

Similarly, a full report by the Natural Resources, Environment, and Climate Change Ministry on the landslide tragedy is expected to be completed at the end of this month.

Its minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad said a preliminary report was tabled in the cabinet earlier this month, during which several issues were raised.
