KUALA LUMPUR – All Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidates contesting in the Kelantan state polls will use the Pas moon logo, said Kelantan PN secretary Wan Roslan Wan Hamat.

He said the logo would be used by all 45 candidates from PAS and Bersatu.

PAS will be contesting 39 seats, while Bersatu will vie for the other six.

Among the six seats are Kok Lanas, Gual Ipoh, Paloh, Nenggiri and Air Lanas (Jeli parliamentary constituency).

Another seat which is yet to be confirmed is either Kuala Balah or Bukit Bunga under the Jeli parliament constituency.

He also said that at least five former assemblymen from PAS will not be defending their seats.

“They have informed their intentions to the party leadership and we have accepted their reasons,” he said.

However, Wan Roslan said they would still play an active role in assisting PN during the elections.

PN is tipped to announce its candidates on July 27. – The Vibes, July 17, 2023
