KUALA LUMPUR – The government’s plan to restore the Federal Land Development Authority’s cash flow and manage its corporate debt will be raised in the Dewan Rakyat today.

According to the order of the meeting, the matter will be raised by Datuk Ahmad Nazlan Idris (BN-Jerantut) in a question to the prime minister.

Khoo Poay Tiong (PH-Kota Melaka) will ask the prime minister whether the government will publish the final report of the Electoral Reform Committee and make it available to MPs and the public.

He will also ask about Putrajaya’s move to reform and improve the electoral system and process.

Sabri Azit (PAS-Jerai) will ask the women, family and community development minister about statistics on child abuse and the measures undertaken to address the problem.

The debate on and winding-up of the Supply Bill 2021 at the committee stage will continue with another three ministries, namely the Federal Territories Ministry, Defence Ministry and Home Ministry.

The last week of the Dewan Rakyat sitting also sees several government and opposition MPs being placed under the home surveillance order after they had close contact with Covid-19 patients.

Speaker Datuk Azhar Azizan Harun, when contacted by Bernama yesterday, confirmed the matter, but did not provide the total number of lawmakers involved. – Bernama, December 14, 2020
