EMMA Raducanu has confirmed her entry for the Transylvania Open that will run from October 25-31 which will be nostalgic for her father.
Her trip to Romania would mean a return to the nation of her dad Ian's birth, Romania.
The news was revealed via the Transylvania Open Twitter account, which posted an image containing all the entry names along with the statement: "Double Grand Slam champion Simona Halep and US Open champion Emma Raducanu will be playing and US Open champion Emma Raducanu will be playing in Cluj!
"Ten of the WTA Top 50 players are in the main draw. This is going to be one magic week!"
Raducanu's first tournament since her US Open win though will be the Paribas Open in Indian Wells, after she accepted a wildcard entry, which starts on Monday.
She has also agreed to take part in the Kremlin Cup after which she will head to Cluj in Romania where the winner's purse will be £250,000 (RM1.4 million).
The appearance of the world number 22 at the hard-court event is sure to ramp up interest.
Fans reacted favourably to the news: "This has to be the most stacked 250k WTA draw I've seen in a while! Both my faves Simona and Emma in, I can't wait!" tweeted @Dariadda.
