KUALA LUMPUR – Marking a return to his roots, Datuk Jana Santhiran Muniayan today signed on at the Transport Ministry as its new secretary-general.

His comeback garnered a warm reception from the ministry’s team, as seen in an announcement on its official Facebook page.

“Our community at the Transport Ministry would like to wish him a warm welcome, and we hope that he will be able to conduct his responsibilities well while meeting the needs and functions of the ministry,” the statement read.

 

His first duty upon returning to his old ministry was to hold a closed-door briefing with several senior Transport Ministry officials.

Jana previously served as the Youth and Sports Ministry’s secretary-general from January 5, 2022 to January 16 this year.

Prior to that, he was the Transport Ministry’s deputy secretary-general. – The Vibes, January 17, 2023
