KUALA LUMPUR – Maxis and international gaming developer and publisher Moonton Games today announced a one-year partnership to elevate Malaysia’s esports scene.

According to a Maxis statement, Hotlink will be the official telco sponsor of all Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournaments this year, bringing exclusive deals, rewards, and content to all its users.

“We are excited to partner with the globally recognised Moonton Games and Mobile Legends Professional League Malaysia, which underlines our continued support for the esports ecosystem.

“We look forward to playing our part in delivering high-speed internet, consistency, and reliability for a better gaming experience,” said the head of Hotlink Consumer Business at Maxis, Rabiras Rajakrishnan.

Meanwhile, MPL Malaysia marketing and business development lead Fikri Rizal Mahruddin said they are thrilled to continue their partnership with Hotlink following the M4 World Championship and season 10 of MPL.

“Their dedication to providing superior connection perfectly complements our vision of making esports more accessible and enjoyable for all Malaysians.
