KUALA LUMPUR – Denying that he is “out of step” with Umno, Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah said he is merely endorsing a party resolution, as contained in the president’s speech at the general assembly last year, to reject a backdoor government.

“Unless they all have forgotten, but I’ve not forgotten.”

The formation of Perikatan Nasional came as a surprise to the Gua Musang MP, who said the coalition “was never discussed by anybody”, but went on to take Putrajaya in March after a tumultuous few weeks in the Malaysian political scene.

The country’s longest-serving lawmaker speaks candidly about this and more with The Vibes’ EDDIN KHOO and ZAIDATUL SYREEN ABDUL RASHID. – The Vibes, November 28, 2020
