KUALA LUMPUR – Zurich Malaysia has appointed Khoo Ai Lin as its new chief executive officer (CEO) for Zurich Life Insurance Malaysia Bhd (ZLIMB), effective today.

Khoo succeeds Stephen Clark, who remains as the executive director for ZLIMB.

In a statement today, Zurich Malaysia said Khoo would be responsible for leading and executing the insurance group’s strategic priorities to grow its life insurance business.

“Khoo has charted more than 20 years of experience in various strategic and senior management roles across the life and general insurance segments, most recently as the group CEO of Tune Protect Group,” it said.

Clark expressed his confidence in the company’s ability to scale the business by strengthening distribution and partnership channels, and to develop unique customer propositions as the new CEO has an excellent understanding of the insurance markets in Malaysia with a compelling breadth of expertise. – Bernama, January 4, 2021
