KUALA LUMPUR – Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB) has declared a total income distribution payout of RM645.9 million for fixed-price fund Amanah Saham Malaysia 3 (ASM3) and variable-price funds ASN Equity 5 and ASN Sara (Mixed Asset Conservative) 2 for the financial year ended September 30.
Parent company Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) said ASM3 declared a payout of RM571.3 million, benefiting 513,721 holders of 14.3 billion units.
It said the return of 4 sen per unit is competitive and exceeds the benchmark Maybank 12-month fixed deposit return of 2.51% by 149 basis points for the financial year to date up to September 24.
ASNB declared a payout of RM12.7 million for ASN Equity 5, equivalent to 3.1 sen per unit, to 11,029 holders of 413.2 million units.
“This amounts to a dividend yield of 3.51% based on the net asset value (NAV) of the fund as at September 24,” said PNB.
Meanwhile, ASN Sara 2 delivered a payout of RM61.9 million, equivalent to 3.6 sen per unit, to 39,559 holders of 1.7 billion units, providing a dividend yield of 3.61% based on the NAV as at September 24. – Bernama, September 30, 2020
