KUALA LUMPUR – Maxis Bhd has launched an all-in-one self-serve digital marketing platform, Digital Marketing Starter Kit, to help small and medium enterprise (SME) businesses reach more customers online.

In a statement today, the company said the Digital Marketing Starter Kit is part of a suite of propositions under Maxis' eCommerce and Retail, which is designed to empower businesses that are new to e-commerce and those without prior digital marketing experience.

Maxis head of enterprise practices Claire Featherstone said the platform could essentially open up new opportunities for the SMEs to be an important part of a fast-developing digital ecosystem and expand into domestic and international markets.

“Upskilling and going digital is not an option for them but necessary for survival especially in a fiercely competitive environment,” she said.

With the starter kit, businesses can quickly and conveniently build an online presence in four easy steps: Select marketing objective; Select where advertisement to be seen; Choose audience and target based on location or interests; and Create compelling advertisements with ready-to-use design templates.

As a Technology Solutions Provider by Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation under the SME Digitalisation Grant, Maxis is enabling SMEs to claim up to RM5,000 to take up a wide range of digital solutions from the company.

SMEs who are keen to explore the platform can sign up for the 30-day free trial.

Once registered, they can instantly access Maxis’ eCommerce and Retail’s content-rich training platforms and gain priority access to Maxis Live Webinars and events with industry thought leaders and global partners. – Bernama, May 12, 2021
