NETIZENS were not amused - instead they filled the comments section condemning a 'daring yet very dangerous' action by a couple in Singapore.

A nine-second video which went viral showed the man carrying his girlfriend on his shoulder with no additional support, going up an escalator.

The video, believed to be taken at Plaza Singapura by another mall goer recently also showed the couple eating ice-cream on the way up.

Netizens said the girl was lucky nothing untoward occurred while many said it was an accident waiting to happen. - November 28, 2025
