RAPIDKL has urged the public to immediately report any misconduct at stations and on trains to ensure public transport facilities remain clean, safe and comfortable for all passengers.

The call was made following a viral video of a man believed to be a foreigner urinating at an MRT station, which sparked various reactions among social media users.

In a brief statement on social media, Rapid KL stressed that the cleanliness of stations and trains is a shared responsibility, in addition to reminding the public not to imitate such irresponsible acts.

"Do not imitate this action. If you see wrong and suspicious activities such as urinating in inappropriate places, eating and drinking on the train or behaving inappropriately, immediately report it to station staff, police assistance or contact our helpline," the statement said.

Rapid KL also hopes that users can cooperate in ensuring that all public transport facilities can be used comfortably by every passenger.
