NETIZENS are urging the police to investigate and take action against a man, believed to be a foreigner, who was seen hitting his wife and shouting abuses at an e-hailing driver.

In a video which has since gone viral, the incident is believed to have sparked when the man handed the driver a RM50 note to pay the fare.

Apparently, the driver said he did not have change for the RM50, and when the man's wife said something to him, he was seen hitting her.

He is also seen holding a baby in the video.

The e-hailing driver then asks him to get out of the car, and the man begins shouting at the driver before finally getting out.

In the comments section, netizens expressed anger and dissatisfaction over the man's actions, especially since he is likely a foreigner.

They were also upset that he hit his wife, also believed to be a foreigner and have urged PDRM to step in and take action. - May 28, 2026
