HOLLYWOOD action star Chuck Norris has died at the age of 86, his family said in a statement.
In the statement posted on Instagram, the family announced that Norris passed away on Thursday morning.
“It is with a heavy heart that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris this morning.
“To the world, he was a martial artist, actor and symbol of strength. But to us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother and the heart of our family,” the statement said.
Norris was known worldwide for his role in the popular television series Walker, Texas Ranger, in addition to starring in numerous action films that catapulted him to fame as an icon of the genre.
