A total of 40 independent bands from Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia will be performing on the virtual Indie Dari Rumah (Indie From Home) Festival from July 18 until 31.
The show, which will be streamed for free on the official YouTube channel of event organiser Atas Angin, will also feature indie and underground veterans such as Johorean ska group Plague of Happiness, and Radhi OAG.
Other Malaysian acts on the bill include 6ixth Sense, Late Night Frequency, Patriots, The Impatient Sisters, Fugo, The Filters, Maverick, Shizuka Ben Aman, The Fatalis, and more.

Representing Singapore are The Purnamas, Madman, and Iman's League, while the Indonesian performers consist of Endah N Rhesa, Enau, Adhitia Sofyan, Gaboh & Friends, and Rasvan Kokoo.
The show will see around three bands perform on the YouTube channel daily throughout the duration of the 14-day festival.

Atas Angin founder Arif Imram, also known as Bam, said the event was aimed at helping to revive the local independent music scene which has long been affected by the current events.
He told The Vibes' sister publication Getaran that the festival initially had 30 groups, but the number grew to 40 due to many requests.
"Since there was a high demand (among performers), there were some who were willing to be on the waiting list in case any band pulled out, so it was better to open more slots.
"I want this music festival to give a big impact on musicians. With the show, I have seen that many have returned to rehearsing and this is a positive sign."
Bam said that prior to the pandemic, he has organised a series of online shows called Ruang Sempit which showcased new acts.
"Due to the extraordinary support from musicians and fans, it was only right for Indie Dari Rumah to become an annual event so that it will grow even further."
