"ALHAMDULILLAH, it is true that I am pregnant with my second child," Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin, 41, said in an announcement to Astro Awani and other media.
She is currently four months pregnant.
Accompanied by her husband, Datuk Seri Khalid Mohamad Jiwa, Siti said she chose not to share the news earlier because she felt it was not the right time.
"It is true that I remain silent even though many have guessed and speculated. This is because the situation does not allow, so my husband and I agreed to take some time.
“Alhamdulillah, many have applied and I am very happy and grateful. Pray for my pregnancy to be safe until I give birth and God willing, I can give birth to a healthy offspring,” said Siti.
Her first child, Siti Aafiyah, is now two years old.
When it comes to the gender of the new child, the singer said she is open to accepting the presence of either a baby boy or girl.
