LOL ASIA, Malaysia's premier live entertainment company, is embarking on its first-ever international tour with Southeast Asia's biggest stand-up comedian, Kumar. He will be performing a compilation of his greatest hits, appropriately titled 'Kumarsutra Greatest Hits,' in London on March 2023, followed by a tour of four cities in Australia (Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, and Perth) in April, and further shows in Jakarta, Bangkok, Colombo, and the Maldives.

The comedian will also be continuing his nationwide tour in Malaysia, titled 'Rowdy Kumar,' with shows in Johor Baru on February 11 and Penang on February 25, following performances in Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, and Kuala Lumpur last year. The tour will provide fans in these cities with belly-rubbing laughter, showcasing why he has remained one of the region's most successful and famous comedians.

Kumar, a multi-talented performer with a career spanning over 30 years, is widely recognized for his unique style of comedy that combines everyday observations, life experiences, and cultural idiosyncrasies. He has entertained millions as a comedian, TV host, actor, dancer, director, and author, and is well-known for his caustic remarks on controversial topics.

"I've performed four or five times a week for nearly 30 years, mostly in Singapore and Malaysia, but I can’t wait to bring my art to the world and meet my global fans. This is really huge for us, and my team at LOL ASIA. My shows in Johor Baru and Penang are also going to be funny with some new material I have written recently. I am excited to start this brand-new international chapter.”

CEO of LOL Asia, Rizal Kamal, added, “Kumar is such a wonderful artist and has made millions of people laugh. It is a blessing working with Kumar over the last 12 years. We are excited to bring Kumar’s gift of laughter to the global stage and make him one of the few successful talented artists to come out of Malaysia. We are really looking forward to our global tour.”

Tickets for the local and international shows are now available online, and LOL ASIA will soon be adding more cities to the tour itinerary. For shows in Malaysia, tickets can be booked at https://lolasia.bigtix.io, and for inquiries, contact 0198403885. – The Vibes, February 8, 2023
