A PRESCHOOL teacher expressed shock and disappointment after hearing her students use abusive and impolite words during a class.

Worried that the language would continue to become a habit, she escalated the issue to the parents and guardians of the students involved.

Through a screenshot of a WhatsApp message that was shared, the teacher said that among the words that were often used were gila (crazy), babi (pig), bodoh (stupid), sial and several obscene words.

She said the word ‘babi’ (pig) was the most used.

"Parents, sorry it took me a while to highlight this. Lately I've heard a lot of rude words from the children in class.

"In the past two or three days there have been many reprimands, but some are repeated," she wrote

Even more surprising was when she also revealed that the children admitted that they heard the words while they were at home.

However, some said that the words came from a video game they were playing.

"Parents please help monitor your children. I am sorry I had to list out the words they frequently used," she added.

Her message went viral on Threads and other parents also expressed shock and concern over her revelation. – November 2, 2025
