MATRIX Concepts Holdings Berhad, in collaboration with Mawar Medical Centre and Kechara Soup Kitchen (KSK), successfully conducted the fourth round of its Food Aid Distribution Programme – Foodbank Drive 4.0.

The programme was held at Arena Seremban recently, continuing its commitment to support 41 underprivileged families across Seremban, Senawang, and Ampangan.

The programme forms part of an ongoing six-round initiative funded through contributions collected during the first KSK collaboration, reinforcing a sustained and structured approach to addressing food insecurity.

Volunteers from Matrix Concepts, KSK and partner organisations worked together from early morning to unload supplies before packing and distributing food and hygiene packs to beneficiary households.

Each family received a food pack containing daily essential items, along with a hygiene pack, with a combined value of RM340, to support overall well-being.

“These provisions aim to ease the burden of vulnerable households by supplying nourishment and necessities,” said Tan Sze Chee, Co-Chief Executive Officer, Property Development Division of Matrix Concepts.

She said Foodbank Drive 4.0 reflects their belief that meaningful corporate responsibility must be consistent and people-centred.

“By working closely with Kechara Soup Kitchen and our volunteers, we can deliver not just food assistance, but also dignity, care, and reassurance to families who need it most,” said Tan.

In addition to food and hygiene aid, the programme also extended basic health services through the medical team from Mawar Medical Centre, offering support beyond immediate relief.

Health screenings were conducted for beneficiaries, including blood pressure, pulse rate, oxygen saturation, blood glucose, visual acuity, and body mass index (BMI) checks — providing them with valuable insights into their overall health status. – January 14, 2026
