KUALA LUMPUR – Dutch Lady has recently launched the #DanaRM1JutaHarapan to help parents lay the foundations for their children’s education.

The nationwide campaign will provide parents support through the Skim Simpanan Pendidikan Nasional (SSPN-i) education fund of RM25,000 for their children. A total of 40 children will benefit from the total fund, which is valued at RM1,000,000.

“During these challenging times, parents all over the country are struggling with many concerns. The good news is they don’t have to compromise on their children’s future just because they are going through uncertain times.

“With the launch of the Dutch Lady #DanaRM1JutaHarapan campaign, we aim to help support the education of 40 children, by giving them a strong start nutritionally as well as a firm foundation for them to grow and achieve their dreams,” said Tarang Gupta, managing director, Dutch Lady Malaysia Industries Berhad (DLMI).

Zatur Hassim, marketing director, Specialised Nutrition DLMI added: “The Dutch Lady #DanaRM1JutaHarapan campaign is ongoing until May 30. During the campaign period, every RM40 purchase of Dutch Lady formulated milk powder for children products will earn consumers an opportunity to nominate a child.”

The campaign will also award 160 consolation prizes consisting of smart devices. Every week, five winners will be selected to receive the education fund, while 20 consolation prizes will be given out.

Social activists supporting this initiative include Datuk Dr Hartini Zainudin, founder of Yayasan Chow Kit and vice-president of Voice of the Children, and Syed Azmi Alhabshi, whose many community projects include Puak (Persatuan Untuk Anak Kita) Payong.

Also lending their voices in support of the campaign are well-known social media influencers, ranging from teachers to parents who are encouraging Malaysians to submit nominations for the fund.

To take part and nominate a child, follow these three easy steps:

  1. Buy any Dutch Lady products worth RM40 or more from the Dutch Lady formulated milk powder for children or formulated dietary food range (Dutch Lady 123, 456, 6+ or Dutch Lady MaxGro);
