For those who have yet to discover the vivo V21 series, let’s take a look at what differentiates this smartphone model from all the others.

What is so special about the vivo V21 series?

Firstly, the V21 series is a treat for selfie lovers as it sets the standard for future smartphones with its state-of-the-art front-end camera.

Officially launched yesterday, the vivo V21 series makes professional smartphone imagery accessible to all users by sporting breakthrough capabilities in night photography and videography.

“We at vivo have always been committed to providing the consumer the best possible user experience, offering products that meet a host of different needs. The V21 series was developed in response to our customers’ requirements for an accessible and feature-rich device.

“We believe that our latest V series with its industry-leading front-end camera, sleek design, powerful hardware and software is the ideal choice for users looking to express themselves, anytime and anywhere.

“As the virtual world continues to merge with our physical reality, the V21’s front-end OIS camera, with its powerful selfie spotlight and amazing user experience, will help our customers present their best selves, both virtually and in-person,” said Mike Xu, vivo Malaysia’s chief executive officer.

The new vivo V21 series, which features a 44MP front camera with exclusive Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS), AI Night Portrait, Super Night Mode, as well as a ground-breaking light sensor, creates a perfect synergy of software and hardware to capture clearer selfies and higher-quality videos.

The front camera also comes with an advanced autofocus that is uncommon in the market. These features help create sharp, focused, high-quality imagery regardless of the shooting distance.

Furthermore, the Dual Selfie Spotlight combines both the screen’s soft light and built-in front flashes, which are exquisitely engineered into the edge of the display screen to make it even easier to capture great photos at night.

Moreover, the V21 series has three rear cameras (64MP, 8MP and 2MP) with top-notch OIS features, which provides outstanding image quality that is brought to life with the help of secondary cameras that handle macro and wide-angle shots as well as more complex photography.

The V21 series also packs a collection of other creative features, such as advanced AI to augment facial features, Dual-View Video as well as various filters and portrait styles that offer users a more artistic and interactive experience.

Ultra-thin smartphones that exude sophistication

The V21 series also features an elegant, sleek aesthetic, which effortlessly integrates thoughtful and sophisticated design elements. Its polycarbonate middle frame is crafted using the Vacuum Metallising technique, which gives the phone a solid, seamless body, that is lightweight and easy to hold. – The Vibes, April 28, 2021
