THE dUCk Group recently launched their biggest Raya collection themed “The Rattan dUCk”.
Taking inspiration from the rustic style of rattan chairs and bougainvillea which blooms at the lawns of the kampung during Raya, the print is a modern take on antiquity. The product lineup includes scarves, prayer wears, bags, accessories, face masks, and ready-to-wear (RTW) apparel.
For the first time, this collection includes eight (8) beautifully crafted pieces of RTW apparel. The RTW apparels will only be available at the dUCk KLCC and dUCK KL East Mall store whilst the rest of the collection will be available online and at FashionValet or dUCk stores.
The collection draws inspiration from beloved grandmothers who were always seen as the rock during the celebration and worked tirelessly to ensure that the festivities are perfect for the whole family.

This year, dUCk wants customers to remember their roots, reminisce the memories of past Raya whilst creating new ones with the family through this nostalgic collection.
“Easily the most meaningful Raya for us here at dUCk. While it was a challenge creating the whole set, it was so worth it! This is our biggest collection to date, cutting across multiple categories, and the team and I learned so much with this experience,” said Vivy Yusof, co-founder of FashionValet and the dUCk Group.
“It was an ambitious dream that we had, and it took us over a year to complete this – from studying the techniques of how rattan was made, the intricate design process that goes into it, and sourcing the best rattan materials for our bags.”
She added that each print was hand-illustrated, and the amount of time spent, and work done could only be possible with passion from the team.

“I especially love the story behind this because I have a special bond with my late grandmothers, and this made me miss them even more. I am proud to see this collection come to life and able to share it with everyone,” said Vivy.
“This year, what is even more special is that dUCk has committed to donating RM100,000 to old folks’ homes across Malaysia, in hopes that we can add a little more joy to their lives. This donation is only possible because of unwavering support and loyalty from our dUCkies.”
The homes that the dUCk Group is donating to are Sherun Old Folk Home & Handicap Centre in Johor, Rumah Orang Tua Sang Riang in Pahang, Pusat Jagaan Warga Tua SRA in Selangor, The Penang Home for the Infirm and Aged in Penang and Mesra Home in Ampang.
