ORIGINALLY from Kajang, Renu Kulendran has been appointed as Canada’s deputy minister of Government and Consumer Services.

Her father was a teacher in Kajang secondary school. Her mother was a teacher at a convent school in Kajang.

Jaffna Junction, the Malaysian Ceylonese community organisation, congratulates Renu Kulendran.

She has over 32 years of Ontario Public Service experience in diverse policy, regulatory, licensing, enforcement and program delivery environments across several ministries.

Renu holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in english and history from the University of Toronto and has completed the executive development program through Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. – The Vibes, July 13, 2021
